What we offer
Peer Recovery Specialist Services (PRSS)
We have a team of peer recovery specialists who are certified through the Minnesota certification board. Services are paid for by insurance at no cost to the client. Anyone with less than a year of sobriety and that has state insurance automatically qualify for services. We believe having someone walk through the first year of recovery from drugs and alcohol with you can be the difference of making it or not. Everyone has a different pathway to recovery and our peer recovery specialists have all the lived experience, as well as the training and resources to guide you along the way to a successful life in recovery. From complete abstinence to harm reduction, no two people’s recovery look the same. With the right support the hope is to come to the same end goal of living a happy, healthy life, while being a successful, productive, member of society.
Certified Peer Recovery Specialist Training
We offer training through Kyros to become a certified peer recovery specialist. This consists of 46 hours of training and a test through the Minnesota Certification board. Training is free. Qualifications are a high school education, lived experience in addiction, and a year or more in recovery.
